Crews tackle two Shropshire house fires

Fires broke out at two Shropshire homes early this morning.

The first, at Lower Allscott, near Bridgnorth, happened at about about 5.50am in the ground floor kitchen of the home.

Fire crews from Bridgnorth and Tweedale were called to tackle the fire, which was confined to a small storage room.
The A442 was partially blocked while fire crews dealt with the blaze, which was put out by 6.30am.
The second fire was at a house on Bank Farm Road, Radbrook Green, Shrewsbury, at about 6.40am.
Two crews from Shrewsbury put out the a small fire, involving a freezer cabinet, by about 7am.
