Man smashes car windows in Telford street and threatens woman

A man smashed the windows of a parked car in Telford and behaved in a threatening manner towards a 25-year-old woman.

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following the ordeal in Second Avenue, Ketley Bank.

The offender, who is described as white, damaged a silver Ford Focus. The incident took place at about 9pm on Wednesday, December 9.

A second man, who was also white, was at the scene of the incident but is not believed to have taken part in the criminal damage.

A 21-year-old man from Wolverhampton was arrested in connection with the incident and is currently on bail.

Officers have conducted house-to-house enquiries and are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to call police on 101, quoting incident number 677S of December 9. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or at crimestoppers-uk.org
