CCTV images released after Telford beer garden attack

Police have released CCTV images of two men they wish to speak to after an assault in a Telford pub beer garden.

A 39-year-old man was physically assaulted in the pub garden of the Rose and Crown, in Sunnyside Road, Ketley Bank, on Sunday, June 7, between 12.45am and 1am.

The offender is described as a white man, around six foot tall, with short light coloured hair and a "large stomach". He punched the victim several times causing him to fall to the floor. The victim sustained minor facial and arm injuries.

A second man is also thought to have been involved in the assault.

Police are eager to speak to the two men in the images in connection with the incident and ask for them, or anyone who recognises them to come forward.

In a separate incident, two men and a woman have been arrested after a man was attacked at the same pub on Saturday evening and left fighting for his life.
