£40,000 of jewellery and equipment stolen from Telford house

Thieves made off with around £40,000 worth of items, including jewellery and electrical devices, from a home in Telford.

Police say the offenders entered the property in Ketley Grange, Telford, through the back door.

Once inside the house in Weavers Rise, they got their hands on 20 watches of various brands, including a unique white rubber and gold Invictus watch that is only available in America.

A large amount of jewellery was also taken from the property including a Gucci bracelet, a white gold diamond bracelet, a ruby bracelet, a tanzanite ring and a miniature boxing glove pendant with diamonds.

The thieves also made off with three iPhone 5s, a Galaxy 4s, a black HTC mobile phone, a white and a black iPad 2, and a black iPad 4.

They also took a Nintendo WII console and various games, an Apple Macbook laptop, a Sony laptop and a distinctive orange Olympus underwater camera.

The burglary happened between 12.30pm and 6.30pm on Tuesday, June 9, but police have only just revealed the details.

Police are keen to speak to three men, who were seen riding quad bikes in the area prior to the burglary. The men are described as white and are thought to all be in their twenties.

Anybody who saw anything suspicious or has seen any of these items being sold in the local area should call police on 101 quoting incident reference number 574 of Tuesday June 9.
