Fire crews called to tackle Telford van blaze

Firefighters were called to a van fire in Telford after the vehicle went up in flames.

One crew from Telford Central was sent to the scene at Waltondale, at around 1.10pm today.
Police were also in attendance and it took the fire service around half an hour to put the fire out.
A spokesperson for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to reports of a van fully involved in fire in Telford.
"Two breathing apparatuses and one hose reel jet was used to extinguish the blaze.
"Our crew was on the scene for about an hour making sure the area was safe."
It is believed no one was injured.
