The crash happened at 2.38pm yesterday in Mill Street.

Both cars caught fire but no-one was trapped and only one person was taken to hospital by car.

Police were also at the scene as well as four fire appliances.

Fire services were also called to reports of a tractor fire, which entirely destroyed the vehicle.

Just after 10.30am on Saturday, firefighters were called to the scene in Hadnall near Shrewsbury, which involved 30 tonnes of baled straw.

Because of its remote location, there was poor water supply and a dam was set up from the water carrier using a light portable pump.
