McFly fans arrived at the box office at 5am to get tickets for the T-Live festival at Telford Town Park in September, which will be Telford's first major outdoor gig.

A group of girls from Ercall Wood School braved the rain for five hours to ensure they were first in line when tickets went on sale at 10am.

Chloe Bythell, Bethany Ambrose, Laura Cunningham and Jessica Cotterill, all 16, thanked Jessica's father for driving them to Telford Ice rink at 4.30am.

Chloe said: "We are freezing but it will be worth it."

Jessica added: "We know we could purchase them online but we want the tickets in our hands. We just care about McFly, we will be right at the front when they come on stage. It is their first time in Telford and we can't wait."
