Lance Corporal Richard Jones conjured up a spellbinding performance for his Shropshire audience.

His friendly and appealing stage presence made the sell-out audience at Festival Drayton Centre in Market Drayton at ease.

Military magician Richard Jones became the first ever conjurer to win Britain's Got Talent and this show made it easy to understand why.

Since then he has gone on to dazzle West End audiences in hit magic show Impossible during the summer.

He was also made a gold star member of the Inner Magic Circle – with gold star, the most prestigious honour in The Magic Circle.

Armed with a few props Richard starts The Power Of Imagination show with audience interaction.

Imagination is a key theme which runs through-out all of his clever tricks.

As well as being astounded by the magic, Richard brings an element of comedy to his performance.

His witty one-liners had the audience in stitches.

He was also helped on stage by a number of audience members who did a great job in the limelight.

Despite his success following his win, Richard continues to be in the army alongside performing full time as a magician.

Richard, who grew up in Chigwell, Essex, comes from a service family. His grandparents, parents and brother have all had military or police careers, which inspired Richard to strive for a career in the army.

He makes this very clear in his show and refers to his pride in being a soldier in The Band of The Household Cavalry numerous times.

He also dedicates his final, astounding trick to the military, emergency services and teachers.

Richard now continues his annual leave from the army to tour the country with this new show until May.

Most dates are now sold out, but there are a few tickets spare at certain venues.
