Oswestry LitFest in March will be the seventh for the town and organisers say they are thrilled to have secured such a big name to appear at the event's preview on January 14.

"We couldn't be more excited," said festival director Carrie Morris."We've been working for months to bring Ruby to Oswestry, so we're thrilled it has come off. We are expecting a sell-out at The Dining Rooms where Ruby's going to share with us all how to change for good – and why – based on her much-acclaimed book Frazzled – A Mindfulness Guide."

Since her rise to comic stardom Ruby has also made her name as an author, with her memoirs hitting the best-seller lists. Her stand-up show Losing It brought to audiences her own challenges with clinical depression.

Tickets for Frazzled with Ruby Wax are available now from the LitFest box office at Booka Bookshop, by calling 01691 662244, or alternatively reserving online here.
