Two injured in two-vehicle crash on M54 that caused rush hour delays
A lane was closed on the M54 westbound between Junction 3 and Junction 4 this morning due to a multiple vehicle crash.
Long delays built on the approach to Telford, adding at least 45 minutes to journey times during rush hour on Tuesday.
Highways bosses urged motorists to find alternative routes in the meantime. It happened at around 7.30am.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the westbound M54, between junctions 3 and 4, at 6.16am. One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. On arrival we discovered two patients, both men, who were from the same car. They were assessed and discharged at the scene."
Both lanes were reported as open again by 8.30am.
