Shrewsbury pub which closed in the summer to be reduced in size to create separate cottage
Plans have been lodged to reduce the size of a pub by bricking up a wall and reverting a section to its former glory as a separate cottage.

Boasting more than 600 listed buildings including the Castle and world-famous Shrewsbury Abbey - home of the fictional Brother Cadfael - Shrewsbury is a must visit place. The county town is the birthplace of Charles Darwin and is within a loop of the River Severn providing beautiful riverside walks. The town is also home to Shropshire's only football league side.
