Aaron Judge was caught in spectacular fashion and the courtroom puns were in session

Case dismissed!

Sometimes in sport the best efforts go unrewarded, and thanks to a phenomenal catch from Jackie Bradley Jr, Aaron Judge was the latest to experience that.

New York Yankees slugger Judge made great contact with a pitch from Boston Red Sox starter David Price, but just when he and the fans might have begun to celebrate a home run, Bradley had other ideas.

Pretty sure you need a ticket to be making catches in that particular seat.

Of course, the MLB’s Twitter account couldn’t resist a little nod to Judge’s courtroom name, and neither could a few fans.

The Red Sox were obviously keen on the catch.

And here’s another effort from the MLB.

Meanwhile, Judge isn’t the first player to fall victim to one of Bradley’s outstanding catches – Oakland’s Ryon Healy experienced something similar earlier this season.

Bit of a club starting to form here.
