Where there’s a Will…press conference interrupted by actor

Buckley mocks Haye’s promoter.

James Buckley, the actor who plays Jay in The Inbetweeners, interrupted the final press conference for Saturday’s fight between David Haye and Tony Bellew to mock Haye’s promoter Adam Moralee.

An outburst from Moralee at Monday’s press conference led to him being compared to The Inbetweeners character Will McKenzie, and while Bellew spoke on Thursday, Buckley brought Moralee a briefcase and glasses similar to those figure-of-fun McKenzie would have worn.

He then told Bellew: “He’s a mate of mine and he’s little. Have a bit of respect. If you want to pick on someone your own size, by all means stand up.”

Turning to Moralee, by then wearing the glasses, he then added: “Will, I’ll see you later; thanks for the tickets.”

The former WBC cruiserweight champion, who laughed throughout, responded “You look too big for me, mate,” before adding: “Jesus Christ, that threw me off. Briefcase w*****.

“I don’t know how many tickets you gave him, David, but f****** hell that was a good one.”
