Brad Friedel’s New England Revolution stretched their unbeaten run in Major League Soccer to four games by beating Montreal Impact 4-0 at Gillette Stadium.
The early dismissal of Montreal’s Saphir Taider for violent conduct preceded Teal Bunbury’s opener and New England were two goals up when Andrew Farrell struck in first-half stoppage time.
Diego Fagundez and Wilfried Zahibo, who had recorded his third assist of the season for Bunbury’s goal, notched after the break as the Revolution romped to a third victory in four outings.
