Stephen Curry scored a season-high 39 points as the Golden State Warriors held on to beat the Brooklyn Nets 118-111.

The Warriors were 22 points up at half-time but the Nets fought back, putting 42 on the board in the third-quarter and brought the lead down to four late in the final period.

Curry also bagged 11 rebounds as the Warriors won their fourth straight home game despite the absence of an injured Kevin Durant.

Jimmy Butler missed a three-point shot as time expired as the Detroit Pistons beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 100-97, with Andre Drummond scoring 20 points in the win.

DeMar DeRozan wrapped up his 33 points with an emphatic dunk as his Toronto Raptors beat the Washington Wizards 100-91, while six players scored more than 10 as the Phoenix Suns beat the Chicago Bulls 113-105.

The Indiana Pacers put the burners on after half-time in their 120-95 win over the Miami Heat.

The visitors scored 62 in the third and fourth quarters, as Bojan Bogdanovic scored 26 points, while Myles Turner had 25.

Lonzo Ball secured a triple-double as his LA Lakers beat the Denver Nuggets 127-109.

His 11 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists helped the Lakers snap a two-game losing streak.
