Former Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez became Mexico’s record goalscorer in their friendly defeat to Croatia.
The 28-year-old surpassed Jared Borgetti’s record by netting his 47th international goal in his 91st appearance.
Hernandez, now at Bayer Leverkusen, came off the bench to head in a late goal in Los Angeles.
Croatia ran out 2-1 winners, with Duje Cop and Fran Tudor having scored in the first half.
