Shropshire Stags set for World Cup trip

Shropshire Stags will be representing the county next month at the Mixed Ability Rugby World Cup in Spain.

The tournament takes places from August 21-25 near Bilbao and sees 16 teams from all corners of the globe come together for a week of mixed ability sport.

Shropshire Stags, who train at Telford College of Arts and Technology, were set up in 2015 by Alexander Barclay and consists of players with disabilities and their able-bodied peers playing on the same team.
