Tigers still have a mathematical chance of the NIHL Moralee Division title and showed they will not give up without a fight with a sparkling display that saw Filip Supa net four times as they eased to a 17-1 success.

The rout started in the third minute when Jason Silverthorn fired the Tigers in front with Supa added a second goal a minute later.

Scott Mckenzie rounded off the scoring in the first period to give Tigers, who saw their clash with Billingham Stars on Saturday called off due to the weather conditions, a 3-0 lead.

The second period saw Tigers score at will, with nine unanswered goals. McKenzie bagged his second of the night and there were also strikes from Jonathan Weaver, Jack Watkins, Adam Jones and Ricky Plant while Supa scored twice to complete his hat-trick and Silverthorn also netted a brace take his tally to three as the visitors powered 12-0 ahead.

Deeside replied through Ross Kennedy before Tigers added goals 13 and 14, both from Tom Watkins.

Supa then netted his fourth of the night before Weaver tallied on the power play.

Macaulay Halford rounded off the scoring to complete a resounding victory.
