Star showing from Telford Tigers
A superb second period helped Telford Tigers ease to a comfortable Moralee Conference victory over Billingham Stars last night.
Goals by Jack Watkins and Jason Silverthorn had Tigers 2-0 ahead at Telford Ice Rink. But they stormed away in the middle part of the clash to lead 7-1 as Silverthorn added his second along with goals from Adam Taylor, Ricky Plant, Dale White and Scott McKenzie.
Billingham pulled one back in the final period but Brodie Jesson had the final word to make it 8-2.
