On the face of it the win-loss column does not look favourable for Wolves, but the football being played has offered more promise.

Good performances coupled with few points can only last so long and O’Neil now needs to find the solution for better results after the loss to Liverpool.

Dazzling forwards

In an excellent first half, Pedro Neto shone through on a pitch full of stars.

A magnificent solo run to assist Hwang Hee-chan’s opener earned Neto his fourth assist in five games. When you consider the whole squad managed 12 Premier League assists last season, Neto has made a brilliant start.

He looks electric on the ball, committed in his running off the ball and dangerous every time he is involved. The team is quickly relying on him already and looked to feed him the ball at every opportunity during a spirited first half on Saturday.
