Rui Patricio

Made a series of saves in the first half, including a sharp one to deny Willock after Saint-Maximin's mazy run into the box.

Nothing he could do about the Lascelles header. 7

Leander Dendoncker

Given the runaround by Saint-Maximin in the first half.

Was then caught flat-footed as Lascelles raced in front of him and headed home to put Newcastle in front. A shaky display, to be honest. 5

Conor Coady

Not the best defensive display on the whole. Coady was caught out a few times by Newcastle's rotating attackers. 6

Romain Saiss

Not always convincing either but pulled off a superb block to keep Joelinton out late on.

That was a heroic piece of defending from the Moroccan. 7

Nelson Semedo

Played a part in the equaliser as he fed Neto, who then crossed to Neves.

Did not have a huge influence on the game, though. Went off after taking a whack towards the end. 6

Ruben Neves

His first headed goal in Wolves colours, and what a finish it was.

Seeing him burst into the box and get on the end of Neto's cross was lovely.

Before that, the Portuguese was not great, but it was a very well-taken goal. 7

Joao Moutinho

Struggled to stamp his mark on proceedings in the middle of the park.

Got better as the game went on but can offer more. 6

Jonny Castro Otto

Brought off deep into stoppage time as he made another good step in his quest for full fitness.

Similarly to Semedo, not all that involved in the grand scheme of things. 6

Pedro Neto

Fantastic cross to set up Neves for the equaliser. Also floated it over to Silva for his late chance.

Could have done better with a shot in the first half, though. 7

Willian Jose

The goalless run goes on. The Brazilian did not trouble the Magpies.

Does not have a lot of service, but is not getting himself into dangerous positions either.

Replaced by Silva – the only surprise being that it was not done earlier. 5

Adama Traore

Found his groove late in the first half when he had a header saved and created a big chance for Neto.

Could not quite carry that on but Newcastle were always wary of him. 7

Subs

Fabio Silva (for Jose, 83)

Somehow had a close-range header saved by Dubravka in a busy cameo. 6

Ki-Jana Hoever (for Semedo, 85)

Rayan Ait-Nouri (for Otto, 90)
