Wolves dinner for three! Who was your choice?

It's a question that has taken social media by storm - if you could pick three guests for a dinner party - who would you choose?

Published

Nathan Judah produced a Wolves version of the popular question - asking fans to choose their favourites from a list of famous faces past and present.

But who came out on top? Which combination proved most popular? And who received the least invites?

Favourite guest(s)

There were two standout names that featured in 90% of the invites - Nuno Espirito Santo and Mick McCarthy.

The fact these two managers were picked ahead of any player, speaks volumes about both individuals.

And yet their characters could not be more different - Nuno's quiet and meticulous personality vs McCarthy's brash and blunt demeanour.

Fans would pay good money to get both men at the table to discuss their different approaches to Premier League promotion.

Least popular

Despite being the popular pick for player of the season - it appears Raul Jimenez may have to settle for a takeaway.

The Mexican sensation only received two invites to dinner from over 250 entries!

Jimenez has already bagged 22-goals this season, but that wasn't enough to persuade the masses.

Some fans alluded to the potential language barrier for a long evening, while others were worried a Sin Cara mask may be hidden underneath the table!

Honourable mention

John de Wolf received plenty of nominations with many believing he would be the perfect guest for any dinner party.

The fan-favourite was a huge character both on-and-off the pitch and has always spoken of his time at Molineux fondly.

Despite only making 28 appearances for the club, he was made club captain and scored a memorable hat-trick at centre-back vs Port Vale.

'He'd be brilliant at the table, plenty of great tales, cracking banter and he'd give as good as he got,' said one fan.

Most popular combination

3-4-9 received the most votes - Nuno, McCarthy and Wolves skipper Conor Coady were the chosen three.

Coady has been a revelation under Nuno and his larger-than-life character was seen by many as the perfect choice.

The dynamic is always crucial at a dinner party and Coady just edged out Steve Bull when it came to completing the trio.

With Irish craic, Scouse wit and Portuguese wisdom at the same table, it's a fair assumption the evening would be a memorable one!
