Adama Traore has trained and is in contention for Wolves’ trip to Norwich.

The wing-wizard picked up a knock to his left shoulder in the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham on Sunday.

The Express & Star understands he remained at Molineux for a medical assessment after that loss.

But he was able to leave the ground without a shoulder brace and, after the squad’s two-day rest, the attacker trained with his team-mates as normal at Compton Park yesterday.

And with Traore raring to go, skipper Conor Coady is looking to bounce back after Spurs ended that 11-game Premier League unbeaten run.

He said: “100 per cent (we want to start another run).

“We’re looking at Norwich, and it’s a big game for us now as we’ve lost and you always want to bounce back – and bounce back well.

“I think we can take the positives from the (Spurs) game. We were disappointed, but we can look back on the game and say, for a lot of the game, we dominated a world-class team in Tottenham.

“We take the positives as we are looking to move forward as quick as possible. That’s what makes us dream big again.”

Wolves will face Spanish side Espanyol in the knockout rounds of the Europa League. But with that two-legged last 32 tie scheduled for February, Coady is focused on the task ahead – Norwich.

He said: “We will never change.

“It is a game at a time for us.

“We have put ourselves in this position (in Europe) and we are proud to have done that, because this club has come a long way in a short space of time.

“Now we have done it, we will enjoy it as much as possible because it is something that everyone in that changing room and every supporter who follows Wolves has something to be proud of.”
