The striker returned to Molineux in January, scoring six goals to help Nuno's side win promotion to the Premier League.

It is understood the DR Congo international will make the switch for £10m.

The signing comes two-and-a-half years after he was sold to Bournemouth for £10m.

The 25-year-old arrived at Molineux a year earlier from then League One outfit MK Dons.

The news comes as Wolves announced 98 per cent of existing season ticket holders secured their seat for the club’s 2018/19 Premier League campaign.

Tickets went on sale to existing season ticket holders six weeks ago and over 20,000 have renewed for the club’s first top tier season in six years.

It is the highest renewal figures in the club’s recorded history.

Season ticket holders who have renewed will now have one week, if they wish, to relocate to an alternative Molineux seat.
