Hartlepool sack former TNS boss Craig Harrison
Former The New Saints boss Craig Harrison has been sacked as manager of Hartlepool United.
In what has been a season of struggle on and off the pitch, Pools have decided to part company with Harrison just nine months after he took charge.
The 40-year-old, who arrived with an impressive CV having enjoyed sterling success with Oswestry-based Saints, has had to work against a backdrop of turbulence in recent months. They sit 19th in the National League.
A club statement read: “We appreciate that, in recent months, Craig has had to work in extremely difficult circumstances due to the uncertainty over the club’s future.”
