The New Saints target dominance

The New Saints look to get back to winning ways in the JD Welsh Premier by maintaining their dominance over Prestatyn Town tomorrow.

The Seasiders have lost their 10 previous league visits to Park Hall, and the Saints will be keen to make it another barren trip this weekend after being held 2-2 at one of their chief rivals, Connah’s Quay Nomads, on Tuesday night.

“The way we’ve been playing, and scoring goals. I felt it was a chance to put some daylight between us and them, but in the end a point was not a bad thing,” said manager Scott Ruscoe.

“We dealt with their set-plays, but a couple of individual errors cost us.

“But we go again on Saturday which will be another tough game as Prestatyn, like all teams who come to TNS, will be looking to knock us off our perch.”

Prestatyn have a dismal record at Park Hall where they have yet to pick up a point. They have failed to score in their last three visits and conceded 12 goals in the process.
