Ex-Shrewsbury Town ace denied dream move to Real Madrid
Former Shrewsbury Town striker Andy Mangan has been denied a coaching move to global heavyweights Real Madrid.
Mangan – who had two spells in Shropshire, winning promotion in 2015 – was all set to link up with Carlo Ancelotti at the Bernabeu.
However, his work permit application has been rejected by the Spanish government, putting the brakes on his dream deal.
