Shrewsbury Town boss Steve Cotterill is set to leave the club by mutual consent - the Shropshire Star understands.

The experienced manager, who arrived at the club in November 2020, has guided Salop to their second highest league finish in 33 years.

But after weeks of post season speculation, his time at the club looks to be coming to an end.

He is set to leave the club by mutual consent - but are Salop making the right choice parting ways with Cotterill?
