The 21-year-old has enjoyed a mightily successful season long loan from Manchester United and has been a mainstay in Town's remarkable League One campaign.

He is the sole representative for Town in the team, which consists of four Blackburn and four Wigan players. The other two are Walsall's Erhun Oztumer and Peterborough's Jack Marriott.

The team is selected by Town's League One peers.

Henderson has kept 14 league clean sheets from 36 third tier outings this season.

He has become a real fans' favourite at Montgomery Waters Meadow for his passionate displays.

There were no outfield selections for Paul Hurst's side, who had Omar Beckles and Jon Nolan included in the EFL League One team of the season.
