An update from the Supporters' Parliament on the club website read: "The Supporters' Parliament have been working hard behind the scenes with the club on the safe standing project since it was given the green light .

The order for the safe-standing units was placed with Ferco Seating at the end of last year and the latest update from them is that the units will ship within a couple of weeks.

"Meetings have been progressing with the Safety Advisory Group and members seem content with installation of safe-standing at the Montgomery Waters Meadow.

"The current aim is that everything will be agreed shortly in time for the delivery and installation of the safe-standing units.

"The hope is still to have safe-standing installed into the Montgomery Waters Meadow by the end of the season.

"We will update further at the next SP meeting, which will be held on Tuesday 13th March at 7pm in the Arthur Rowley Lounge."
