Here, Joe Edwards looks at how each Salop player performed in the stalemate at Montgomery Waters Meadow.

Dean Henderson

Did not cover himself in glory for Doncaster's second, misjudging an Isaam Ben Khemis cross.

Henderson did not have a save to make in the first half, other than keeping out a James Coppinger effort with his feet.

He appeared on his way to a clean sheet until Matthieu Baudry's scrappy goal, which he would not have been best pleased about as he slipped in the build-up to it, followed on by the leveller.

Not his best game. 6/10

Luke Hendrie

Got up and down the right-hand side very well in the first half.

He tired a little in the second period, though, and was replaced by Stefan Payne as Shrewsbury searched for a late winner. 6/10

Toto Nsiala

Received a booking for kicking the ball away after tripping John Marquis in the first half.

Played a part in Carlton Morris's goal but, defensively, has had better showings. 6/10

Mat Sadler

The veteran scored Salop's first goal and was the best of the back four.

He passed with confidence, allowing Paul Hurst's side to develop moves forward – mostly before the hour mark. 7/10

Max Lowe

Went on a few mazy runs in the first half and should have got on the scoresheet shortly after the break.

He was moved to left wing during the second period and then faded out of the game. 6/10

Ben Godfrey

Makes it look so easy in the middle of the park. He glides past opposition players like they are not there and very rarely gives the ball away.

Some fine work from the Norwich loanee in the first half created an opportunity for Alex Rodman, who forced a fine save from Ian Lawlor.

Godfrey oozes class. 8/10

Abu Ogogo

Made a lot of interceptions in the opening 45 minutes which led to chances for Town.

Given the vast amount of football he has played recently, though, he was less effective as the game went on and Doncaster drew level. 7/10

Shaun Whalley

Shrewsbury's two goals came after his corners, but he was guilty of holding onto the ball for too long on a few occasions.

Several of his crosses failed to beat the first man too. 6/10

Jon Nolan

Came up with some nice passes and pulled off a couple of clever flicks, but he was the most quiet of the central midfield trio. 6/10

Alex Rodman

It just did not quite happen for him. He got himself into some good positions and had a couple of decent shots – one blocked, one saved.

Rodman has now gone 11 league games without scoring. 6/10

Carlton Morris

Rifled home Salop's second to end a 15-game drought.

He held the ball up superbly as well, bringing others into play.

Fans will hope that goal, which was met with elation and relief in equal measure by the striker, can spark a run of them over the coming weeks. 8/10
