The 26-year-old was jailed for 10 weeks after pleading guilty to online fraud.

Ranger has been fitted with a tag that requires a 7pm curfew, but the game with Salop does not kick-off until 7.45pm at New Meadow.

"It's 95 percent certain Nile is not available tomorrow, which is disappointing after he played 90 minutes on Saturday," said Shrimpers boss Phil Brown.

"The tag is causing me a problem and so is the 7pm curfew so it doesn’t look like we will have the opportunity to play him tomorrow.

"I’ve been in touch with governors which certainly makes a change from talking about formations and football, but they’re the problems we’re facing.

"It’s disappointing after he played 90 minutes on Saturday, but maybe it might be a blessing in disguise."

This is likely to be the final game the forward will miss, with his tag set to be removed later this month.
