Craig Harrison made his first return to Wales since leaving TNS to take over the reins at Hartlepool and it was Harrison’s side that made the livelier start to the game.

The first half proved to be uneventful with the home proving unable to muster any meaningful chances and fortunately their opponents posed very little threat at the other end.

After the break Alex Reid looks like Wrexham’s best bet for getting onto the score sheet, creating a handful a half chances that went begging before coming close himself halfway through the second half.

In the end it came as no surprise that the game ended in stalemate, extending Wrexham unbeaten run to five games.
