AFC Telford unveil new kits for next season

AFC Telford United have unveiled a colourful new range of strips for next season.

The Bucks announced recently that Joma would be the kit manufacturer for the 2019/20 campaign and asked fans to vote for one of four home designs.

The plain white one came out on top, and a red away and purple third kit with the same design have also been revealed.

The goalkeeper’s home strip is green, and the away one yellow. Telford’s new home top will mainly be worn with black shorts and black socks – after spending the last few years having navy blue as the secondary colour instead.

The Bucks also have white shorts and socks which they will wear to complete the home kit for certain fixtures.

New shirts will be available to pre-order at the club’s end-of-season awards night, for which the date is yet to be confirmed.

Tops are due to arrive in July ahead of a club open day and prices will be confirmed in due course. Supporters have been impressed with the strips too.

Darren Jakeman wrote on Twitter: “These look absolutely phenomenal guys, amazing work!”

Telford’s design is off the shelf rather than bespoke, meaning they should avoid delays like they experienced with the kits made by Hummel UK this campaign

Home shirts arrived so late that the Bucks had to start the National North season in their blue away kit.
