WATCH: Hartlepool mascot H'Angus bares all for AFC Telford United photographer

There was a bit of monkey business going on as AFC Telford United stunned higher-league Hartlepool in the FA Trophy yesterday.

During the Bucks' 2-1 victory over Pools, the hosts' famous mascot - H'Angus the Monkey - discovered official club photographer Tim Roberts' video camera behind one of the goals.

After a cheeky look down the lens, H'Angus proceeds to turn around, pull his shorts down and give Roberts, who also takes pictures for the Shropshire Star, a wiggle of his bare monkey bottom.

Watch H'Angus bare all for Telford's Tim Roberts:

H'Angus shot to fame in 2002 when he was elected the mayor of Hartlepool with the promise of free bananas for all schoolchildren.

The man behind the monkey at the time was Stuart Drummond, who caused plenty of controversy as H'Angus, including when taking an inflatable doll in a Pools strip into a game at Blackpool.

Drummond left H'Angus behind to take his mayoral duties seriously, holding on to the role until 2013.

Since his political career, the following incarnations of H'Angus have calmed down somewhat, instead focusing on raising thousands of pounds for charity – including alongside Sky Sports presenter and Hartlepool honorary president Jeff Stelling.

But, as proved yesterday, this is one monkey who still has a cheeky side.
