Dinanga, 21, has been snapped up on an 18-month deal by the Bucks, from Burton, after his 25-goal haul while on loan last season.

And he has been welcomed with open arms by the Telford players, many of whom he played with under Rob Edwards – and are now thriving under Gavin Cowan.

“Obviously the boys remember me from last season and they’ve welcomed me back,” said Dinanga on returning to the Bucks, who are fourth in National League North.

“It feels like I never left. I spoke to the gaffer a few weeks back and he wanted me to come in.

“I thought about it and I thought ‘why not?’

“I thought it was the right thing to do.

“The gaffer told me I have to fight for my place and has told all the strikers the same thing, so I don’t mind doing that and we’ll see what happens.”

Dinanga spent the first of this season in the division above with Hartlepool.

Things did not quite go to plan as he failed to score, but he says he is stronger for the experience.

“I learned a lot with Hartlepool, in training and games” he added.

“I feel like I’m smarter. They helped me out a lot.”
