AFC Telford United winger Adam Dawson does not just excel in creating goals – he has got some decent pipes on him too.

Adam Dawson hit the right notes

The 25-year-old, a summer arrival from Southport, helped the Bucks to a 3-2 win at Spennymoor Town on Saturday.

And what better way to celebrate than belting out perhaps the most recognisable opera aria of all time, in front of some stunned team-mates, on the long coach journey home?

Dawson, complete with a beer bottle as a microphone, gave a rousing rendition of Pavarotti's Nessun Dorma.

The footage of his performance earned a fair amount of praise on Twitter too, with Rob Palin posting: "Excellent voice tbf (sic)."

Sarah Burbridge wrote: "Brilliant singing." Well played, Adam!
