The Bucks are third bottom in National League North as they prepare to welcome FC United of Manchester to the New Bucks Head.

A win would provide a big boost, with them currently four points from safety.

On how the mood has been after a scheduled trip to Spennymoor Town on Tuesday was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, Edwards said: “The lads have trained well, they’ve all been working really hard.

“The mood is fine here. They were disappointed to concede late in the game (to draw 2-2 at Tamworth) on Saturday, but they’ve been great as always.

“I’ve been delighted with their attitude and a lot of their performances. We just need results to follow suit now.”

Wolves loanee Ryan Leak is a doubt for the game. The 19-year-old centre-half has found game time hard to come by as of late and has a hip injury.
