Bernard McNally: AFC Telford are stockpiling strike talent

AFC Telford United have added another striker to their ranks in the form of former Huddersfield Town youngster Max Leonard.

While centre forward has not been a position the Bucks have struggled in this season, with Marcus Dinanga finding the net on a regular basis, having another option there is only a good thing.

Strikers are worth their weight in gold and bringing in Leonard, although perhaps more of a No.10, in will keep Dinanga on his toes. Having come in from Curzon Ashton, he knows what National League North is all about.

Telford – after their FA Cup exit at Hereford – will be looking to get back to winning ways as they head to FC United of Manchester in the league tomorrow.

The Bucks have gone three games without victory, and while FC United recently let go of their manager they cannot be underestimated.

It should be an interesting game and hopefully Rob Edwards’ side can come away with the spoils.
