McNally: AFC Telford need belief to end home slump

AFC TELFORD United welcome high-fliers Harrogate Town this weekend and it’s a tough one for Rob Edwards’ side to get the New Bucks Head monkey off their back.

It’ll be a very difficult game against Harrogate, a full-time side who have lost just once from nine this term, but funny things happen in football – the Bucks may see it as knowing they’re the underdogs, lets hope that mentality leads to the elusive win.

After the 2-0 win at Nuneaton, a tough place to go and get a result, Telford have won four from five on the road, you’d rather the record was the other way around!

It will be on the minds of the players but they’ll have to take the lead from the manager, who has to fill the squad with confidence and get them right mentally.

It’s promising that Anthony Dwyer and Marcus Dinanga up front have formed a partnership. The Bucks need to make sure they can plug the other end and stop conceding.
