AFC Telford United will be desperate to get that monkey off their back and claim their first home win of the season when Blyth Spartans come to town on Saturday.

The longer it goes on, the more it plays on your mind – they need to break that taboo, writes Bernard McNally.

Luckily, they have had some good results on the road such as the 3-0 win at Leamington on Monday.

Marcus Dinanga and Anthony Dwyer, who scored twice, impressed in that game with their pace and power up top.

Defenders do not like players coming at them who have got that speed so that could turn out to be a big plus for the Bucks.

They played together for a bit for Matlock Town in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier last season so they will be used to the physical side of the game.

It will be interesting to see how that strike partnership develops for Rob Edwards’ side.

Hopefully they can both put in bright performances again on Saturday.
