Marcus Dinanga's goal proved the difference for the Bucks, bagging all three points in a low scoring affair.

In a tentative first half, both sides had few opportunities to take the lead, although the hosts came close with two Terry Galbraith free-kicks almost breaking the deadlock.

With the weather working against both sides, the scores stayed level heading into the second half, although that didn't last long.

Almost immediately following the restart, the Darlington goalkeeper failed to hold a Bucks effort, with the ball falling to a grateful Dinanga to fire home.

The shock lead stunned the Blackwell Meadows, and Darlington struggled to come up with any kind of immediate response.

In fact, it was the visitors who looked more likely to double their lead, with Kieran Dunbar forcing a good save from the edge of the area with under half an hour remaining.

Darlington eventually managed to press in their hunt for an equaliser, but the visitors held firm to secure the win on their travels.
