The midfielder schemer was on boss Rob Edwards’ radar and Telford had offered a deal to the one-time New Bucks Head player.

Durrell was on trial with Telford and scored during last weekend’s 4-0 victory over Haughmond.

But the 27-year-old, who spent last season with National League side Chester, has joined the Silkmen.

The Bucks chief is yet to complete any signings with the Bucks. A number of trialists have been given game time and the ex-Wolves coach is expected to begin shaping the squad he inherited from Rob Smith next week.

Meanwhile, Edwards is delighted to tap into the Bucks knowledge of his new No.2 Sean Parrish.

Ex-Telford midfielder Parrish, also the cousin of Edwards, was confirmed as assistant boss on Wednesday and took his place in the New Bucks Head dugout against Aston Villa.

Edwards’ backroom staff is beginning to take shape with Parrish alongside first-team coach Gavin Cowan and new physio Jake Roe – formerly of Villa Ladies.

Roe was understudy to Tom Fream last season, the former physio left his role this summer ahead of joining the RAF.
