Graeme Le Saux guest of honour at Shropshire FA Community Awards

Former England international star Graeme Le Saux was the guest of honour at the Shropshire FA Community Awards.

The Lord Hill Hotel in Shrewsbury welcomed 150 guests as the county came together to celebrate football achievements.

Clubs, volunteers and coaches were all honoured at the presentation, sponsored by the Shropshire Star, The FA, UK Global, Sportsjam, TJ Vickers, Salop Leisure and SCS.

County FA hierarchy, including chairman Dave Ralphs and chief executive Roy Waterfield, were also present.

Le Saux, 48, gained 36 England caps between 1994 and 2000. He won a Premier League title with Blackburn and featured for England at the 1998 World Cup.

The FA's head of judicial services Mark Ives was also present. Along Le Saux, he answered questions from a keen crowd at the hotel's Regency Suite.
