The Marston's Shropshire Premier Cricket League will deliver its final over.
Officials will stage an extraordinary general meeting – following the annual gathering – at Reman Services in Shrewsbury tonight (7.30pm) to officially wind up the league which was formed in 1970.
The Marston's League and the FBC Manby Bowdler Shropshire League will form under one new structure next season.
Clubs including Shrewsbury, Wellington and Bridgnorth, now in the Birmingham League, have been invited to send representatives to the swansong.
