Shrewsbury Town's suspensions are an opportunity for others - says Ainsworth

Shrewsbury Town will be missing Aaron Pierre and Mal Benning at Cambridge but that gives others the chance to shine, according to Gareth Ainsworth.

Both Benning and Pierre picked up yellow cards in the second half of the clash against Blackpool on Wednesday evening. 

And that means both defenders have received five yellows - which leads to an automatic one-match suspension - which will be served this weekend. 

The Town head coach says that is just something you have 'got to live with' but means now others will get their chance to show him what they can do. 

"Mal Benning and Aaron Pierre are both out," Ainsworth said. "That it is the five-card rule.

"They have both got into full-blooded challenges. I thought Mal's was very soft, and Aaron's was probably fair, it is one of those things you have got to live with.
