The trio of League Cup winners are taking part in 'an evening with' event in Wolverhampton, titled 'In a league (cup) of their own'.

All three legends will be on stage at the Cleveland Arms pub on November 20 to give fans an insight into their careers and time at Molineux.

'King John', who scored 194 goals for Wolves over 485 appearances, was a key part of the teams that won the club's only League Cup trophies in both 1974 and 1980.

He has since gone on to become a vice-president at Wolves and after celebrating his 74th birthday on Saturday he remains a firm fan favourite.

Richards scored the winning goal in the 1974 final against Manchester City, with the other goal coming from former team-mate Hibbitt.

The Yorkshireman also started both finals alongside Richards, as the pair wrote themselves into Wolves history.

Joining them at the Cleveland Arms is Gray, who joined Wolves from Villa in 1979 and went on to score the only goal of the game in the 1980 League Cup final, as Wolves beat Nottingham Forest.

VIP tickets are now sold out for the event, which starts at 8pm, but standard tickets are still available.

Entry starts at 7pm for standard tickets and can be bought by visiting www.clevelandarms.com or by calling 01902 451021.

Standard tickets cost £15.
