Wilding will be monitoring Passmaster's Monday night coaching sessions at Shrewsbury Sports Village.

Steve Green, head coach and owner of Passmaster, is delighted to have Wilding on board.

He said: "We aim to provide young footballers with the opportunity to develop their skills and confidence with the added benefit of having an experienced ex-professional like Steve running a watchful eye over them."

Wilding made 171 appearances for Town during a six-season stint before spending a further six years coaching in the club's youth system.

He is now one of Stoke City's chief scouts, covering the UK and Europe for potential Premier League players.

The sessions provide an opportunity for youngsters to play in a fun environment that aims to bridge the gap between grassroots football and development centres and academies and are aimed at children of all abilities aged five to 10.

Further coaching opportunities include twice weekly sessions held at SCAT for children aged between four and eight. For more information contact Steve Green on 07503 260041.
