The 20-year-old would become the first signing for caretaker boss Mike Jackson, ahead of tomorrow's trip to Swindon in League One.

The Bosnia & Herzegovina under-21 international has played four times for the Scottish Premier League champions, scoring once.

He was actually born in Sweden, starting out in the youth ranks at Malmo, before moving to Scotland in 2010.

But he has committed to play for Bosnia & Herzegovina at all levels of the national game, which he confirmed again immediately after his debut for Celtic last May.

It's the second signing since manager Graham Turner stepped down on Tuesday, with Scottish under-21 midfielder Fraser Fyvie also arriving on a month's loan from Wigan Athletic.
