A suicide car bomber targeting a British security company in the Afghan capital Kabul has killed two civilians and wounded three others, officials say.
Interior Ministry deputy spokesman Nasrat Rahimi confirmed the Saturday attack, which was claimed by the Taliban.
Jan Agha said the attacker targeted a “foreign convoy”, but was not successful. He said the attack took place as the convoy passed by the car bomber.
Zabihullah Mujahid, Taliban spokesman, claimed responsibility for the attack in a text message, saying the target was foreign vehicles and the attack was successful.
